About

Setu means bridge. That is the whole idea.

Donors want to give. Panjrapols genuinely need the help. What has been missing is something trustworthy standing between the two.

The problem

Around 7,676 registered Panjrapols. A handful of them do well.

The shelters that get steady money are usually the ones with better marketing, not the ones with greater need. Everywhere else, honest people feed hundreds of animals on very little and nobody hears about it.

Two sides of the same gap

Both ends are stuck, for different reasons.

What donors run into

  • No way to tell a genuine shelter from a well-marketed one
  • Nothing to show what the money actually bought
  • Silence once the payment goes through
  • No sensible way to weigh one shelter’s need against another’s

What shelters run into

  • No presence online at all, often not even a phone listing
  • The same few local donors, year after year
  • Feed, medicine and water emergencies nobody hears about until it is too late

What we built

A platform where the proof is the product.

Verification before listing. A specific costed need instead of a general fund. Payment that settles straight to the shelter. A bill at the end of it.

Technology is what makes the first donation possible. Being shown what happened to it is what makes anyone give a second time. So the transparency chain is not a feature beside the donation flow — everything else exists to keep that chain intact.

Who does what

Four groups of people, each with a job.

Donors

Browse verified organisations, fund a specific need, follow it to the bill, download the 80G receipt, and rate the shelter afterwards.

Panjrapols and Sanghs

Clear the six verification steps, post real costed needs, and upload the bills, photographs and reports that close them out.

Volunteers and inspectors

Travel to shelters, file reports with photographs and location data, flag what does not add up, and go back for re-verification.

Admin

Approve or reject applications, moderate every posting, handle disputes, and keep the trust score honest.

Guidance

Shilpvidyagya Pu. Pu. Shri Soumyaratna Vijayji Maharaj Saheb

Jivdaya Setu is built under the inspiration and guidance of Maharaj Saheb.

The aim is simple: help every registered Panjrapol in India stand on its own feet by giving it a trusted presence, and give the people who support it real reason to believe their help arrived.

Where we are

Being straight about the stage we are at.

The platform is built and the first organisations are in verification now. The app has not been published and no donations have been taken. When that changes, this page will say so.

The app is where all of this happens.

Browse verified shelters and sanghs, fund a specific need, and follow it through to the bill. In English, Hindi and Gujarati.
