Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Jivdaya Setu mobile app and website (jivdayasetu.org), operated by Innodel Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Jivdaya Setu”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the platform in any way, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
What Jivdaya Setu is
Jivdaya Setu is a trust and transparency platform connecting donors with verified Panjrapols (cow shelters) and Jain sanghs across India. We verify organisations, publish the specific needs they post, and track the chain from a donation through to the bill and photographs showing how it was used.
Jivdaya Setu is not a payment processor and never holds or moves donor funds. Every donation is paid directly from the donor to the shelter or sangh — by UPI, netbanking, cash or cheque, as agreed between them — and the donor then records that payment on the platform. We provide the introduction, the verification and the transparency record; we are not a party to the payment itself.
Who can use the platform
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement under Indian law.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account, registering an organisation or recording a donation, and keep it up to date.
- Your phone number is your primary identifier and is verified by a one-time password. You are responsible for keeping access to that number and for all activity under your account.
Roles on the platform
- Donors record donations, browse verified organisations and their requirements, and follow the trail from donation to utilization proof.
- Panjrapols and sanghs submit the organisation for verification, post requirements, and upload bills, photographs and utilization reports for funds they receive.
- Volunteers and inspectors carry out physical verification visits on our behalf and file inspection reports.
- Administrators review verification steps, documents and disputes, and may approve, reject or suspend accordingly.
Verification and trust scores
Organisations are verified in six steps: basic information, legal documents, gaushala or organisation details, geo-verification, physical inspection by a volunteer, and final admin approval. A verified badge means an organisation passed this process at the time of verification. It is a strong signal, not an absolute guarantee, and we re-verify periodically to keep it current.
Trust scores are computed from platform data — document completeness, utilization follow-through, inspection findings and donor ratings — and update automatically as that data changes. The exact weighting is configurable and may change as we refine it. A trust score is a decision aid, not a guarantee of an organisation’s conduct.
Donations and requirements
- Requirements describe a specific need, amount and urgency. Beyond the verification and inspection process described above, we do not independently audit every figure an organisation posts.
- Recording a donation creates a record for your own history and for the 80G receipt described below. It does not itself move any money: the payment happens directly between you and the organisation, outside the platform.
- See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for what happens if a donation was made in error or you want to request a refund.
80G tax receipts
Where a shelter holds a valid 80G registration, Jivdaya Setu issues a consolidated tax receipt on its behalf, under its own 80G registration, based on the payments it has confirmed receiving. We rely on that registration and those confirmations being accurate, and we are not responsible for a shelter’s 80G registration lapsing, being revoked or being misrepresented. If we become aware of that, we suspend the organisation’s visibility on the platform.
Content you submit
You are responsible for everything you upload — documents, photographs, bills, reports, ratings and comments — and you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We may remove content, reject a document, hide a rating or suspend an account that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, misleading or in breach of these terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or reinstate a Panjrapol’s or sangh’s listing — for example if verification lapses, a dispute is under review, or we find evidence of misuse — and may suspend a user account for fraud, abuse or violation of these terms. You may stop using the platform and request account deletion at any time; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data afterwards.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is”. We work to verify organisations and keep the transparency chain accurate, but we do not guarantee that any organisation will use funds exactly as described, that a requirement will be fulfilled, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use the platform, and you choose to donate, at your own discretion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jivdaya Setu and Innodel Technologies Pvt. Ltd. are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, including loss arising from a donation, an organisation’s conduct, or a payment made directly between you and an organisation outside the platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vadodara, Gujarat.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the platform evolves; material changes will update the date above. Questions can be sent to chiragmshah@gmail.com.
